It is with your generous support that we can pursue our mission to affect change in the community. We pride ourselves on generating sponsorships to cover our annual operating costs (and no salaries here). Rest assured that 100% of your donations go towards aid for our supported orphanages in Asia, our scholarship fund, or community outreach programs. We definitely give as much as we get.

ATG’s Outreach to Vietnam and Thailand: Orphanages and Schools
Accountability: Selection and Verification
Even though there are many orphanages to aid, we conduct on-site and unannounced visits to observe and speak with management, in order to determine which orphanage genuinely needs the most assistance. For example, there are orphanages that specifically help special-needs children. We collaborate with trusted, local representatives to conduct additional unannounced and also planned visits.
Evaluation of Needs
Based on observation and discussion, there is a determination of the orphanages specific needs. In addition to educational needs, examples of tangible donations, include blankets, books, clothes, diapers, meals, and recreational toys.
Rather than providing tuition assistance to any child, we work directly with the schools and the local Study Encouragement Society (SES) or Study Promotion Association (SPA), to identify the top students who came from families living in poverty. Our representatives work directly with local schools to seek out the greatest needs and collaborates with teachers to find our scholarship winners.
Other than financial assistance, we help them in other ways, such as, growing plants and making handcrafts to sell and earn money, to buy to their own food. We also deliver and serve meals to the children. Although we do not expect anything in return from an orphanage, they typically send us photos to show their appreciation. Sharing our skills and time, opens the door to more opportunities, such as continuing for higher education, to provide for themselves in the future.
